fakebake2I’m very excited to try this solution! I have done my research on them and seen mixed reviews. So the final word will be from me. So i phoned them for some samples, i must say i have had better customer service but it was’nt as bad as people made out. Maybe i was speaking to one of the nice one’s. Anyway, the samples arrived quickly and they smelt lovely! Spray tan solution now i think are getting better smells! Beats the digestive smell. All in all i was very happy with this product. Dries quick, fade off was even and like i said the smell is lovely! In my top 5 for sure 🙂

I use Fake Bake. They really do have a nice smell. Does’nt make my salon smell horrible lol. I always get fab results. And the same as you i don’t get great customer service.

You’ll love it! It smells amazing and the colour looks really natural. I personally feel the products are a little pricey though but thats my only issue. I’ve also heard their Customer Service isn’t the greatest actually but no experience of it myself.

After looking at a few other tanning solutions i have also found them pricey. Actually, a lot of tanning solutions are over priced! But from my experience you don’t always have to go for the most expensive solution for great results.

Tanya Hyde which solution did you receive a sample of? My only issue with FakeBake is they only have two shades, so I’ve heard..? xx

  5. Tanya Hyde says:

I only got a sample of the ‘normal’ and ‘dark’. I personally tired the normal one for my pale skin. When i washed it off it looked fine, two days later when i had another shower it seemed to come off? Very strange! Maybe next time i should apply more? But now im thinking to give it another go but im not paying for it, what if it happens again? So i will phone them and ask, not getting my hopes up though!

I’m looking to buy from fake bake but I’ve heard mix reviews.. How would I be able to get some samples to try?

    • Tanya Hyde says:

You are best phoning them Sophie, but i have heard the stock and to actually speak to someone is very hard! I seen somewhere that they are only having Fake Bake in the UK now so that’s why it’s hard to get hold of the solution. Do some more research on them first, as if you are a busy sprayer you may have to turn clients away. But research and phone them about this 🙂

I use 1oz 10% Kahuna Bay anti aging solution mixed with 1oz of 12% Kahuna Bay dark Spray tanning solution. to compliment all skin types and use non tinted regular Jergens toning skin lotion to have my clients rub on their armpits elbows knees top and bottom of feet all over fingernails and toenails. never spray hands and feet the over mist will tan those areas just fine if you directly spray them , they will get way to dark and look very unnatural. I have a local and mobile spray tanning and teeth whitening business for two years now. Be passionate about your services, be punctual, and compliment your clients needs and you will succeed!
