What’s your barrier-and-blending routine so hands and feet don’t come out looking dipped? I still get the odd client with obvious cut-offs around wrists and ankles despite being careful.

Step-by-step of what you do in the last pass would be brilliant — including how much barrier and when you wipe.

Light barrier on wrists, hands, ankles, heels and between toes — thin, not greasy. Spray body first, then a very light mist over the tops of feet and hands from further away, and blend with a mitt or gloved hand while the guide is still wet.

Wipe palms and soles almost immediately if any overspray lands there. I often leave the very ends of fingers and toes nearly bare and feather colour in.

Practice on the same volunteer until the wipe-and-blend feels automatic; rushed last passes are where dipped hands happen.
