extractorsI would like to know if any of you think Extractor fans make a huge difference. In my opinion i wouldn’t be without it! Nothing in this world will get rid of 100% of over spray but it sure gets rid of 75% of it, looks professional and isn’t as loud as i thought it would be. The one i have was a great price (not sure what they will be now) and had it for 2 years, still going strong and looks new. It sits at the back of the tent through the flap and does it job. I would recommend the washable filters though as mine are still going strong. Really can’t praise the invention of Extractor fans enough, they really have helped with my over spray 🙂

I feel exactly the same about my extractor fan. The price i got for it was amazing too! Just over £200. It has helped me a lot as i thought just opening a window would be enough. Then more tans started to come in and cleaning up after them i realized how much over spray i actually had. Best invention ever!!

I don’t have one of these, maybe I should due to the amount of tans I will be been getting! Would you say it is worth the money spent on them? As the ones I have found come close to £200

I would say the extractor fans are well worth the money, but no point getting one yet. Wait until your business is up and running properly until you get one. Honestly they are fab! And there are so many different ones to choose from. The one I tried was from Maximist

I have recently bought one and find is so much better especially when doing mobile tans. Yes there’s not a fan out there which eliminates 100% of overspray (so I was told) but when doing a tanning party especially I was always concerned I would get a call the following day re. overspray staining something even after opening windows and spraying in a room with little textiles :/ Glad I have one now – Olivia xx

Hi would you recommend a particular extractor fan?

Hi Sandra, Where are you based? UK / US?
There are many extractor fans in the market – some are rubbish others are great.
One thing I have found is (my opinion) units with a washable filter seem to be the best sellers and have longest life.
Not to mention little overheads after purchase 😉

    I hope this helps 🙂

Any recommendations on which is the best extractor fan for mobile spray tans? It would be helpful for actual name and supplier if possible please. 😊

For use in a home conversion salon studio instead of one of these would a 10inch or 14inch industrial extractor fan be sufficient in taking away the residue and smells rather than a mobile unit such as one of these..?
