How do you handle clients with eczema or psoriasis? Do you always patch test, stick to fragrance-free/Pure-type solutions, postpone during flares, or are there situations where it’s a hard no?

I want to be careful without turning every sensitive-skin booking into a medical interview.

Active flares on the spray area are a postpone for me — spraying over broken or angry skin isn’t worth the risk. Between flares, fragrance-free/Pure-style liquids and a 24–48h patch test on the inner arm are sensible.

Ask where they’re prone, avoid heavy layers there, and document that they confirmed skin was calm. If they’re under dermatologist treatment, I suggest they clear it with their clinician.

Hard no: open wounds, infected areas, or anyone who had a previous spray reaction they haven’t investigated. Better to reschedule than repair trust.
